New in Highstreet Collections Autumn Winter

Topshop - Grunge Collection
Topshop's new collection focuses largely on '90's Grunge revival', this trend was successful in S/S 2012. Here I selected two of my favourite items from the new Topshop collection for the colder seasons, the shorts can be worn with tights.

River Island - Peplum
River Island's Just arrived section boasts a large amount of both formal and informal 'sweat top' like peplum clothes. Additionally River island also seem to be selling acid wash jeggings and jeans, both of which are associated with the modern 'Grunge' trend.

Vivienne Westowood to have catwalk show at Foreign and Commonwealth Office

Vogue reported that a spokesperson for Westwood's fashion house are "honoured" to have permission to use the Foreign and Commonwealth Office as the setting for the catwalk show. It is the first show that has taken place at the venue.

This is as a result of Westwood's involvement with the government's GREAT campaign, whom she was the face of recently. This involves a promotion of all things British, and a traditional British building and designer seem to go hand in hand.

Caviar Nail art

This is a guide about how to create 'Caviar' nails, to create this you will need microbeads, (available cheaply and in a range of colours via Amazon and eBay. You will also need a large tub/bowl and a container for the microbeads.

Step one. Paint the nail with a base coat and then a colour, (either the same colour of the beads or a similar colour if your beads are several colours).
Step two.  put your nail over the bowl/container and tip the beads from the pot over your nail (where the nail polish is still wet)
Step three. Repeat this over all of your nails, and wait for them to fully dry (I find that it takes much longer than normal nail polish), you can paint over the beads once fully dry with a top coat.
