It has been announced that Prada has recreated 40 dresses from past Prada and Miu Miu collections to make costumes for the upcoming film adaptation of Baz Luhrmann's, The Great Gatsby.
The dresses are Twenties-era flapper dresses and will be worn in the film, Prada also worked with Lurhmann in his 1996 remake of Romeo and Juliet.
Prada told US Vogue that "I usually try not to literally reference periods in my work,
because that's not the way I think". It has furthermore been announced that Tiffany & Co have provided all of the jewellery for the film.
The Great Gatsby is set to release July 2013.
