Alice Temperley, Molina dress

The typical cold British weather is back but not to fear, it’s that wonderful time of the year again where Spring/ Summer collections are revealed, and we are in for a treat with the new Alice Temperley collection.

This burnt tango (a hot colour for s/s 2012) Molina dress has a plunging décolletage neckline, making it perfect for a night out with the girls or to take on a relaxing holiday, the knee length skirt also makes up for the amount of chest on show.

The leg of mutton ¾ sleeves add more shape definition to the smallest of frames, and highlight the shape of curvier frames. The dress is tight fitting and ruched skirt down the front and the back of the dress to enhance your shape further. The back of the dress is fastened by a closed-ended zip, making it easier to fit into a smaller size, and more difficult to put on alone.

The bust and bodice of the dress seem to closely resemble Marilyn Monroe’s famous ‘Seven Year Itch’ dress, making this dress a classic cut that will suit a wide range of body types as the waist line and ruched skirt combine to create the illusion of the perfect our glass figure we all yearn for.
